Integrated Program Solutions, Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Software Developer in a hybrid compacity located at Patuxent River, MD. Selected candidate must be willing to support 2-3 days onsite at the client location. The selected candidate will possess strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and support AI/ML services, applications, agents, and workflows to support Department of War (DOW) operational efforts.
- Develop AI agents and workflows and collaborate on the integration of AI capabilities with existing Fleet Support Equipment (SE) systems.
- Create AI training and testing harnesses to ensure AI determinism.
- Design, develop, and deploy offline semantic memory databases for AI systems.
- Architect and deploy AI containers with full model weights, ensuring GPU compatibility and secure execution.
- Design, develop, and implement deterministic scripts for pre-flight procedures, aligning with Fleet Support Equipment (SE) requirements.
- Support the development of software test environments and validate AI responses through laboratory and ground testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with GFE documentation and air-gapped security protocols.
- Support AI training, model refinement, and optimization of AI workflows.
- Collect, organize, and interpret technical performance requirements for developed AI systems.
- Develop, implement, and manage software requirements.
- Develop, monitor, and track Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
- Support the development and execution of program acquisition documentation and processes.
- Work independently and collaboratively with DoD clients and cross-functional teams to support software development and system integration efforts.
- Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with DOW Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 Controls
- Familiarity with the FIPS 199 publication and determination of System Baseline
Qualifications:
Senior: BA/BS in Computer science, Software Engineering, or related field & 5+ years’ experience; AI development or related experience
Junior: BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field & 0-3 years’ experience; AI/ML development or related experience
Technical Skills:
- Senior: Expertise in AI development, containerization (Docker or Podman preferred; experience with Kubernetes also suitable), and GPU optimization.
- Junior: Familiarity with AI/ML development and basic containerization tools such as Docker or Podman.
- Strong proficiency with the following core programming languages:
- Python
- SQL (MySQL, SQLite, or PostgreSQL experience preferred)
- Familiarity with Vector Databases (Qdrant)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Project for scheduling and data analysis
Security Clearance:
Due to the requirements of this contract, U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a TS SCI clearance is required. Active TS SCI Clearance is preferred.
