RN PACU (Recovery) - Full-time

Must pass background check and physical including drug screen

Full-Time RN Position in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (Recovery)

BLS and ACLS required. Telemetry and PALS preferred. ACLS and PALS are offered onsite and are free of charge.

Orthopedic experience preferred but not required.

Shift hours will be 10 hours: 8:00 am to 6:30 pm (subject to change based on staffing needs). You will train 1-2 months on 5 - 8 hour shifts and progress to four 10- hour shifts according to training progress.

Directly responsible for coordinating immediate post-operative recovery care of the orthopedic surgical patient. Nursing actions are directed toward optimizing recovery from anesthesia, detecting and managing post-anesthesia complications, providing ongoing assessments and interventions appropriate to the surgical procedure, and supporting the patient emotionally. Demonstrates care that is geared to the surgical experience.

Modifies procedures to the response and comfort of the individual patient.
