Physical Therapist (PT) Acute Care PRN

**Inova Loudoun Hospital** is looking for a **Physical Therapist (PT)** to join our Acute Care team. This role is PRN/As Needed requiring at least 2 weekend shifts per month (weekday availability is a plus), and 1 major and 1 minor holiday

**Physical Therapist PRN Job Responsibilities:**

• The Physical Therapist PRN selects evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patient's diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans.
• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Perform re\-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.

May perform additional duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

• **Education** : Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• **Licensure** : Physical Therapist license (VA licensure or compact privileges)
• **Certification** : BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start

**Preferred Qualification:**

• Physical Therapist (PT) experience in the acute care setting
