Physical Therapist

Job Summary

We are a fast expanding company, with an energetic and fun work culture with a team spirit culture. As a Physical Therapist, you’ll be a part of our family and team, assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and guiding rehabilitation across appropriate care settings.

You’ll use your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support safe, purposeful care for patients with varied needs, including orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and geriatric concerns. Your experience may include acute, inpatient, hospital, outpatient clinic, outpatient rehabilitation, or home and community care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and deliver physiotherapy, including trigger point therapy when appropriate.
• Develop and update care plans and treatment plans; coordinate discharge planning with patients and care teams.
• Provide patient care and rehabilitation, adapting approaches for geriatric patients and other populations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and communicate clearly with patients and clients.
• Complete physical therapy documentation in electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems, following clinical documentation standards and medical terminology.

Experience

• Experience practicing in a physical therapy role and knowledge of patient care, anatomy, and physiology.
• Relevant experience in acute care, inpatient, hospital, outpatient, clinic, or outpatient rehabilitation center settings is valuable.
• Home health or home and community care experience is useful.
• Experience working with geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, or neurology is preferred.
• Familiarity with care plans, treatment plan development, discharge planning, and EHR/EMR management is an asset.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 35.0 per week
