**Job Description:
**
The applicant will be focused on electrical wiring and harness assembly design and development. Duties include creating wiring diagrams and schematics, resolving wiring/integration related issues between the various avionics/electrical systems, performing technical checks to ensure wiring document correctness, and providing engineering sign-off for all F-16 change notices developed at Hill AFB.
Candidate will be part of a team effort to incorporate changes developed by USAF into the formally documented configuration of USAF F-16's, as well as support development of new modifications.
In this role, the applicant will be interpreting redlined wiring harnesses/diagrams/schematics and/or engineering source data requirements to develop updates to the electrical harness and interconnect architecture of the F-16.
This will include drafting wiring schematics, diagrams, and similar styled drawings in Catia CADAM Drafting (CCD) and releasing them as part of a Build To Package that documents the parts listing and type version effectivity data associated to the wiring changes.
A B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar 4 year degree, previous experience interpreting and drafting wiring diagrams and schematics, and experience utilizing CAD drafting software (Catia or similar) is required. Previous experience designing on aerospace platforms ( F-16, F-35, F-22, etc.) and experience with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics proprietary tools (ADMS/CSPL, Parts Warehouse, EDMS, etc.) is desirable.
