Software Engineer (1 yr exp req)

Incubation Systems is looking for a Software / Electrical Engineer to join our Research & Development (R&D) team. In this role, you will work on both software and hardware. You will help design, test, and build code for microprocessors, work with physical prototypes, and help make sure our systems run smoothly from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Coding: Write clean, reliable, and efficient code during all stages of planning, testing, and development.
• Prototyping & Testing: Build prototypes, run diagnostic tests, figure out why errors happen, and recommend design fixes or repairs.
• Troubleshooting: Run regular system tests, fix bugs, and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Documentation: Create technical specs, write clear comments in code, and put together system manuals.
• Support: Help oversee and install products when needed.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ANSI C (for microprocessors) preferred.
• Tools: Experience using Visual Studio, MPLAB, and/or LabVIEW preferred.
• Problem Solving: Ability to break down complex logic and troubleshoot errors.

Pay: $74,400.00 - $89,700.00 per year
