In this role, you will provide program-level oversight of avionics production, drive execution across multiple disciplines, and play a key leadership role in ensuring hardware is delivered on schedule and meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
You will serve as a central point of coordination between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, test, and program management teams, helping translate program requirements into executable production plans. Your work will directly impact the performance, reliability, and successful delivery of hardware destined for orbit.
Position leveling will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for flight hardware and ground support equipment (GSE), ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams
- Partner with program management to establish delivery schedules, deconflict resources, manage production flow, and align manufacturing priorities with overall program objectives
- Coordinate engineering, production, supply chain, quality, test, and operations teams to ensure timely execution and delivery of avionics hardware supporting vehicle integration and program milestones
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product quality, manufacturing consistency, and long-term hardware reliability
- Ensure avionics components are built, tested, and delivered to vehicle integration on schedule, proactively addressing constraints that could impact program milestones
- Provide clear project status updates, lead project reviews, communicate risks and mitigation strategies, and maintain alignment with internal and external stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of demonstrated development or manufacturing experience with electronic or optical hardware, including both build and test
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver technically complex projects
- Strong project management skills
Preferred Skills and Experience
- M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in spacecraft avionics manufacturing
- Experience with setting up and scaling manufacturing lines, including building and testing avionics
