About ijovi

ijovi is a pharmaceutical strategy and creative agency within Zealth Group, with offices in Indianapolis, Boston and Copenhagen.

Together with our sister companies Zealth (global market access) and Ghintell (our Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, India), we work with major pharmaceutical and biotech companies across the US, Europe and Asia, bringing together strategic, scientific and creative expertise to help clients address a broad range of business challenges.US offices Indianapolis: 350 Massachusetts Ave, Suite 300, Indianapolis, IN 46204 Boston: 711 Atlantic Avenue, 6th floor, Boston, MA 02111

About the role

If you want to help build a US business, not just manage an established book of accounts, ijovi could be the place for you. We are a growing pharmaceutical strategy and creative agency looking for 2 ambitious Account Managers with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will work directly with major pharmaceutical and biotech clients, take responsibility early, and help shape our expanding US presence.

Good ideas move quickly here. You will work closely with senior executives, have a voice in decisions, and be trusted to turn ideas into action. We value inventive problem-solvers and people who get things done.

You can make a visible impact on clients and the business from day one.

Although the title is Account Manager, this is not a narrow, siloed role like those found in many larger agencies. You will work across client relationships, delivery, strategy and commercial opportunities, collaborating with our medical, market access, creative and digital colleagues. New assignments will arise as we grow.

We want someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and is ready to step outside a traditional job description when needed.

What you will do

  • Client relationships: Be the primary contact for your assigned accounts. Understand client priorities, build trust, and confidently lead conversations about scope, timing, and quality with sound judgment.
  • Project delivery: Turn client needs and strategic direction into clear briefs. Coordinate strategy, medical, creative, and project teams to deliver work that meets the brief and agreed quality standards.
  • Scope and budgets: Build estimates, scopes and timelines. Keep budgets visible, flag scope changes early and agree change orders before additional work proceeds.
  • Review and approvals: Coordinate materials through the relevant client review processes, including medical, legal and regulatory (MLR) or promotional review committee (PRC) where required. Consolidate feedback and keep revisions aligned with the purpose of the work.
  • Account growth: Understand your clients’ brands, business priorities and upcoming needs. Identify opportunities, contribute to proposals and work with senior colleagues to turn conversations into new projects.
  • Communication and judgment: Set a clear rhythm for client calls, agendas and follow-through. Surface risks early with recommended next steps, make decisions within your remit and know when to involve others.
  • Build our US presence: Bring ideas for how we can better serve clients and grow the business. Help turn promising conversations, unmet needs and new opportunities into action.
  • Work beyond the silos: Take on new assignments as they come up, even when they go beyond traditional account management. Help solve problems across teams rather than passing them from one function to another.

What success looks like

Clients trust you as a partner who makes things happen. You deliver to agreed timelines, scopes, and budgets, communicate risks early, and bring ideas rather than just updates. You take ownership of unfamiliar challenges, contribute to account growth and help strengthen ijovi’s US business.

As your impact and responsibilities grow, so does the opportunity to progress.

What you will bring

  • Relevant experience: 3 to 6 years in healthcare or life sciences client services, including at least 2 years independently managing accounts or substantial workstreams. Agency experience is preferred; relevant experience within a pharmaceutical or healthcare company is also welcome.
  • Account management skills: Practical experience with briefs, estimates, scopes, timelines, and budgets, plus evidence of identifying an opportunity or helping expand an existing client relationship.
  • Healthcare review experience: Experience coordinating promotional or medical materials through review, with working knowledge of applicable US promotional requirements, FDA/OPDP expectations, the PhRMA Code, and fair balance.
  • Clear communication: Confident client communication and precise writing. You can turn a complex discussion into clear decisions, responsibilities, and next steps.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and collaboration: You are an inventive doer who is curious, organized, and comfortable making decisions. You enjoy varied assignments, take initiative without waiting for a detailed playbook, and stay calm under pressure. You work well across disciplines and time zones and know when to ask for input.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience in cardiometabolic health, oncology, hematology, or neuroscience.
  • Familiarity with review platforms such as Veeva Vault PromoMats.

Location and work arrangement

  • Indianapolis: At least 3 days a week in the office or at client sites.
  • Chicago: You will work remotely and attend our Indianapolis office at least one day each week. Travel expenses and any necessary overnight stays for these visits and other business travel are covered.
  • Team collaboration: You will work with colleagues across the US, Europe, and India, including regular early-morning overlap with Europe.
  • Copenhagen onboarding: Within your first three months, you will spend one week at our Copenhagen head office to meet colleagues, build relationships, and get to know how we work across markets. Business travel expenses are covered.
  • Relocation and eligibility: Candidates open to relocating are welcome. You must be authorized to work in the US. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a pre-employment background check, conducted in line with applicable federal, state, and local law.

Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary: $100,000 to $120,000 per year, plus annual bonus.
  • Health coverage allowance: An additional $500 per month ($6,000 annually), paid as regular cash compensation to help offset the cost of individually arranged health coverage.
  • Paid time off: 15 days of PTO annually.
  • Year-end closure: Paid time off during the company closure between Christmas and New Year, in addition to the 15 PTO days.

Why join ijovi

You will join a fast-growing company and play a key part in building its US presence. You will have direct access to senior executives, responsibility on major pharmaceutical and biotech accounts, and the ability to move ideas forward without layers of bureaucracy. The pace is high, the work is varied, and the team values initiative, practical thinking, and a sense of fun.

This is a demanding, high-energy role for someone who is ambitious, enjoys rolling up their sleeves and wants a different experience from the traditional large-agency model. Strong performance and readiness for broader responsibility can open the door to rapid progression into a Senior Account Manager role.
