to help build and scale the platform used to search, analyze, and visualize complex data.

Key Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend engineering and API development experience
• Experience building and maintaining production-facing software products
• Strong knowledge of databases, data-intensive applications, and system design
• Ability to work across the stack, from backend services to user-facing applications
• Experience making architectural decisions and driving technical initiatives
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a startup environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and maintain the company's core platform and data systems
• Develop APIs and backend services that support customer-facing applications
• Create product features including search, analytics, visualization, and reporting tools
• Build and enhance interactive mapping and data exploration capabilities
• Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Partner closely with leadership to define and prioritize new features
• Contribute to technical architecture and engineering best practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with geospatial or mapping technologies
• Experience building AI or machine learning-powered products
• Experience with search, indexing, or information retrieval systems
• Background working with scientific, engineering, or data-heavy applications
• Startup experience
