Primary Care Physician Assistant

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Perform procedures such as wound care, suturing, and aseptic techniques.
• Provide primary care services, including health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.
• Offer counseling and education to patients on various health topics, including addiction counseling.
• Utilize electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks) for accurate documentation and data management.
• Ensure compliance with medical coding and billing regulations.

Experience:

• Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical record systems.
• Strong knowledge and experience in primary care, acute pain management, hospice palliative medicine, and addiction counseling.
• Excellent patient assessment skills and ability to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnostic evaluation and data interpretation.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
