RN Staff, Athens-Limestone, ED Observation Unit, 2 South, FT-1st Shift

Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and coordinates delivery of nursing care to groups of patients in compliance with hospital and departmental policies, protocols and procedures. He/she provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and by performing treatments and procedures.

He/she recognizes, reports and documents clinical observations. The Registered Nurse participates in orientation, training and management of personnel.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current AL RN License.
• BLS required.
