Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Telemetry to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac conditions and other critical health issues. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care are met for each patient.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to assess patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, providing appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Experience

• Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred, particularly in telemetry or critical care environments.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation law, long-term care systems, and home community care practices is advantageous.
• Familiarity with anatomy knowledge and infant care is a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is desirable.
• Proficiency in patient care techniques, especially within a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), will be beneficial.

Pay: $29.80 - $40.00 per hour
