Job description

About this role

House Rules is looking for an organized, relationship-driven sales professional who loves turning inquiries into memorable events. As our Regional Inside Sales Manager, you’ll help clients book corporate outings, team-building events, birthdays, celebrations and private events across House Rules Las Vegas, House Rules Scottsdale and Recess Tempe.

You’ll manage assigned inbound opportunities from the first inquiry through proposal, signed agreement and deposit, then coordinate a clear handoff to the venue’s operations team. We’re looking for someone who responds quickly, follows up consistently and confidently asks for the sale while making the planning process easy and enjoyable for our clients.

This is a hands-on sales role working closely with the Regional Director of Sales, venue leadership, operations and business development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound inquiries from our websites, phone, email and referral partners across all three locations.
  • Understand each client’s goals, guest count, timing and budget, and promptly prepare a complete, personalized proposal.
  • Sell the full House Rules experience, including gameplay, catering, beverage packages and relevant event enhancements.
  • Maintain consistent phone, email and text follow-up, answer questions, overcome objections and guide clients toward a booking decision.
  • Secure signed agreements and deposits while following company pricing and approval guidelines.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and current, including communications, proposals, follow-up tasks, next steps and reasons for lost business.
  • Learn each venue’s offerings and recommend the location and package that best fit the client’s needs.
  • Re-engage stalled inquiries and past clients, and work qualified opportunities generated by our business development team.
  • Prepare the initial Banquet Event Order (BEO) and provide a thorough handoff to operations, including client introductions, event inclusions, special requests and outstanding details.
  • Participate in pipeline reviews, sales training and team meetings, and contribute ideas that improve conversion and the client experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • A demonstrated ability to convert inbound inquiries into confirmed bookings and meet sales goals.
  • Strong organization and follow-through, with experience managing multiple opportunities in a CRM.
  • Confident phone skills and clear, personable written communication.
  • Experience preparing proposals, presenting packages, handling objections and closing sales.
  • A consultative approach to upselling, helping clients build a better experience while growing event revenue.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to collaborate across multiple locations and teams.
  • Hospitality, private events, catering, hotel, restaurant or entertainment sales experience preferred.

What Success Looks Like

You respond promptly, provide thoughtful proposals and keep every opportunity moving. You consistently convert inquiries into bookings, grow food and beverage and enhancement sales, maintain a reliable pipeline, and give operations the information they need to deliver a great event.

  • Drive new business development by identifying prospects, nurturing client relationships, and closing complex deals through effective negotiation and consultative selling techniques.
  • Manage key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive communication, tailored solutions, and exceptional service delivery.
  • Analyze sales data using analytics tools to monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities for growth, and optimize sales processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that generate leads and support strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of sales team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and achievement of sales targets.
  • Report regularly on regional sales performance to executive leadership, providing insights into market trends, competitor activity, and business opportunities.

Experience

  • Proven success in outside sales with a strong background in B2B enterprise selling within a corporate or SaaS environment.
  • Extensive management experience leading sales teams or business development management functions in a fast-paced setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technology sales, including SaaS products or technical solutions requiring detailed product knowledge and technical sales experience.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM platform, Sales management systems, and analytics tools for reporting and forecasting purposes.
  • Strong skills in customer relationship building, negotiation, deal closing, and account management at an executive level.
  • Experience managing sales strategy or development teams with a focus on meeting or exceeding aggressive sales goals.
  • Ability to analyze market data effectively using analysis skills to inform strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across marketing, technical teams, and senior leadership.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire team development, foster innovation, and promote a customer-centric approach.
