Requisition Title: Product Manager

Location: Rockville, MD

Duration: 6 Month contract with possible extension

Project Description

About The Role

  • The Product Manager owns the end-to-end lifecycle of one or more products — from discovery through delivery and iteration.
  • You'll partner with Technology and Business stakeholders to shape product vision, build strategic roadmaps, and drive development priorities that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Working at the intersection of Engineering, Business, and cross-functional teams, you'll ensure the right problems are solved, commitments are met, and users are empowered.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Engineering and UX Design to deliver compelling, user-centered products that solve critical business problems and create exceptional user experiences.
  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap; contribute to budgeting and business case development.
  • Own the product backlog — prioritize based on business impact, user value, and effort; make informed tradeoff decisions to maximize outcomes with available resources.
  • Author well-crafted user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements that clearly articulate desired outcomes.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through the development process, removing obstacles and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Drive continuous product improvement through user research, usability testing, and sentiment analysis — turning insights into action.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally within regulated industries or complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of translating ambiguity into clear, actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to influence without authority and build alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment in navigating competing priorities, complex tradeoffs, and stakeholder disagreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive working relationships that elevate the quality of deliverables.
  • Proficiency in technical business writing, including functional requirements, workflows, use cases, and process documentation.
  • Highly organized with a bias toward action and a comfort level managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
