Senior IT Project Manager ( Must have recent Apparel experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager / Program Manager to lead enterprise technology projects, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration initiatives, and digital commerce transformation programs. The candidate will initially manage technology integration for Marc Jacobs and subsequently oversee its technology portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in retail or apparel technology, omnichannel commerce, enterprise systems integration, and post-acquisition IT integration. This role requires managing multiple concurrent projects, global teams, strategic vendors, budgets, risks, and executive-level communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent enterprise IT projects and programs from initiation through delivery.
• Manage M&A technology integration, TSA transitions and exits, Day 1 readiness, data migration, cutover, and post-integration stabilization.
• Oversee technology initiatives involving ERP, e-commerce, POS, OMS, WMS, PIM, DAM, and omnichannel platforms.
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, consultants, and system integrators.
• Develop project plans, integrated schedules, budgets, resource plans, RAID logs, and status reports.
• Lead executive Steering Committee meetings and communicate project progress, financials, risks, dependencies, and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, SDLC, PCI, IT governance, and company policies.
• Manage vendor contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), transitions, and delivery commitments.
• Oversee change management, business readiness, knowledge transfer, adoption, hypercare, and operational handover.
• Improve PMO methodologies, project governance, documentation, and delivery processes.
• Use AI-enabled project management tools to improve planning, documentation, reporting, meeting management, and risk identification.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT project management, program management, or PMO leadership.
• Strong experience in the retail, apparel, fashion, wholesale, or omnichannel commerce industry.
• Proven experience managing complex enterprise IT projects across multiple regions, brands, and platforms.
• Experience with M&A technology integration, TSA exits, acquisition integration, or enterprise system consolidation.
• Strong understanding of retail business processes, including wholesale order-to-cash, retail operations, and omnichannel commerce.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), MuleSoft, OMS, PIM, DAM, and payment platforms.
• Understanding of integrations involving ERP, e-commerce, POS, WMS, APIs, middleware, and third-party SaaS solutions.
• Experience managing project budgets, vendors, resources, risks, dependencies, and executive stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SOX, SDLC, PCI compliance, and project governance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar project management tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Shopify experience.
• Experience with global apparel, fashion, or multi-brand retail organizations.
• Experience with organizational change management, cutover planning, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Familiarity with Visio or similar tools for documenting integration and process flows.
• Experience using AI-powered productivity and project management tools.
