About this role
Job Overview
We are seeking an Associate Account Manager to join a global semiconductor materials supplier in Silicon Valley. This is a structured, mentorship-based role designed to grow into full account ownership. You will be the day-to-day contact between U.S. semiconductor customers and our engineering and manufacturing teams overseas, making sure customer needs are understood and handled accurately and on time.
The role pairs customer-facing work with a technical learning curve. It suits someone who communicates clearly, picks up complex products quickly, and wants a long-term path in account management within the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for U.S. customers, including process and technical engineers, through regular communication and follow-up.
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams overseas on quotes, order status, and customer qualification activity.
- Prepare quotes and proposals, process orders, and keep accurate customer records in CRM systems.
- Learn the product line well enough to explain specifications, capabilities, and applications to customers.
- Prepare reports and support monthly sales reviews with leadership.
- Track customer activity and market trends to help identify opportunities within existing accounts.
- Work with senior account managers to take on greater account responsibility over time.
- Visit West Coast customers periodically and participate in occasional evening calls with international teams.
- Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree. STEM preferred but other degrees will be considered.
- Approximately 1-5 years of professional experience. Recent graduates are welcome.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with international colleagues.
- Comfortable learning technical subject matter and explaining it clearly.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Prior customer-facing, sales, or account support experience is a plus. Semiconductor or manufacturing exposure is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future.
Join us to learn a highly technical business and build long-term customer relationships in the semiconductor industry.
