Senior Controller

We are a fast-growing, multi-entity company operating in the private jet charter industry. Our team manages high-value assets, provides world-class client services, and maintains a high standard of financial accuracy and operational excellence. As we continue to scale, we are seeking an experienced Controller to take ownership of our accounting function and strengthen our financial infrastructure.

Position SummaryThe Controller will oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain a strong system of internal controls.

This role requires deep proficiency in QuickBooks Online, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage accounting across multiple business entities.You will work directly with leadership and play a key role in month-end close, reconciliations, and implementing scalable processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain full-cycle accounting for multiple business entities
• Oversee QuickBooks Online, including chart of accounts / classes
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Complete general ledger account reconciliations and adjustments
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including accruals, amortization, and depreciation
• Manage AP/AR, vendor payments, and expense allocations
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance
• Support year-end closing and work with external CPA firms
• Implement and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and standardized processes
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Assist in onboarding new entities, assets, and accounting workflows as the company grows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a Controller or Senior Accountant role
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required)
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany entries
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and general ledger management
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
