IT Manager (Hands-On)

Job Summary

The IT Manager owns the company's technology infrastructure, systems, and support function — including the ERP systems used across all departments — ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and effectively supporting business operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain company IT and telecommunications infrastructure, including servers, networking, and end-user hardware.
• Administer and support the ERP and related business systems used across departments.
• Own IT security practices, including access controls, backups, and incident response.
• Manage vendor relationships for IT hardware, software, and telecom services.
• Provide or oversee help-desk support for employees across all locations.
• Evaluate and recommend new systems or technology investments to improve operations.
• Maintain IT policies and ensure compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
• Manage the IT budget and capital equipment planning.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience, including systems administration and end-user support.
• Experience managing or supporting an ERP or warehouse management system.
• Strong vendor management and budget experience.
• Complex Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience supporting a multi-location distribution or wholesale business.
• Experience with Epicor ERP solutions (Acclaim, Eclipse, Prophet 21) and/or NetSuite ERP
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco).

Physical Demands

• Primarily office-based; occasional travel to other company locations for on-site IT support.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
