Hearn Law, PLLC is a full-service firm in downtown St. Petersburg. We represent individuals and businesses in business, real estate, healthcare, construction, and civil and commercial litigation matters across Florida.

We are a family-owned firm. Our associates work directly with the firm’s partners at every stage of a case.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented associate attorney who seeks meaningful hands-on experience. You will manage cases from intake through resolution and will not be limited to one small piece of the file. Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and analyzing contracts
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
• Communicating directly with clients and opposing counsel
• Analyzing records, contracts, and discovery
• Managing deadlines and case strategy alongside the partners

Qualifications

• Member in good standing of The Florida Bar (required)
• One to three years of civil litigation experience (recent graduates with strong clerkship or internship experience are encouraged to apply)
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Professional, clear communication with clients, courts, and colleagues
