The Role
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides for consistency across digital platforms, including signage for transit systems.
- Partner with User Experience Research to understand rider needs, behaviors, and pain points, maintaining a feedback loop for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on user needs and business goals.
- Partner with the Creative team to ensure brand alignment.
- Present design concepts and research findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Establish and document UX processes and best practices.
- Implement user testing and other quality control measures.
What You'll Need
- 8+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on mobile applications.
- Proven experience leading UX for complex digital products.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Strong leadership skills to champion user-centered design practices.
- Proficiency in UX design tools and excellent visual design skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with complexity and close attention to detail.
- Experience in the transportation industry or related fields.
- Experience with accessibility guidelines.
