Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Develop and maintain firmware and software for server control systems, focusing on board-level management and sensor integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support the full lifecycle of hardware development, from early concept design and board bring-up to manufacturing and deployment.
• Create automation software and diagnostic tools to validate system reliability and performance within large-scale computing environments.
• Engage in technical design reviews and laboratory testing to ensure robust integration between hardware components and system software.

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years focused on system design or architecture.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (such as C, C++, or Python) and experience working with embedded systems or Linux-based architectures.
• A strong interest in hardware/software co-design and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative, mentorship-driven team environment.
