Senior Software Engineer

Working with a global investment management firm that offers comprehensive capabilities across nearly all segments of the capital markets. This firm provides tailored investment solutions to institutional clients in over 60 countries, driven by robust proprietary research and a collaborative culture.

The Role

• Design, implement, deploy, and support IBOR platform components
• Build scalable, high-performance backend services using Java, Spring, and SpringBoot
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
• Work with PMs, Tech Leads, and QA on estimates, delivery, and risk management
• Align solutions with enterprise architecture and engineering standards
• Utilize AI tools for accelerated development, improved quality, and optimized workflows

What You'll Need

• 7 to 10+ years in systems development with Java (currently Java 17, or 11)
• Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
• Solid understanding of multi-threaded applications and high-performance systems
• Experience developing and deploying RESTful APIs
• Demonstrated use of GenAI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
