We're working with a leading technology integrator providing full life cycle services and solutions in technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets, supporting national security clients and driving innovation in technology development and experimentation.
The Role
- Design, build, and maintain modern, cloud-native applications and tools to expand scale and accelerate research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices on AWS.
- Develop custom APIs and microservices, including containerization, and process data stored in relational and NoSQL databases.
- Facilitate seamless code promotion from development to production by resolving technical issues.
- Contribute to implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines, following DevSecOps best practices.
- Support cross-functional teams by delivering high-quality software products that meet evolving research needs and client requirements.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 2+ years of experience.
- Strong experience with Java Spring Boot and at least one other language (e.g., GO, Python).
- Strong experience using AWS CLI and AWS SDK, with proven ability to deploy and configure software on AWS cloud services.
- Experience implementing APIs (REST, Swagger) and working with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, and ECS.
- Familiarity with databases such as AWS RDS, AWS DynamoDB, or PostgreSQL, and knowledge of SQL.
- Understanding of infrastructure as code (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline), and DevSecOps best practices.
