Senior Data Engineer | Hybrid - Addison, TX | Up to $165K Base URGENT HIRE | Interviewing Immediately | Immediate Start Preferred I'm partnered with a high-growth, private equity-backed organization undergoing a major enterprise data transformation and looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer to play a critical role in building the foundation of their modern data platform. This is not a maintenance role.

This is an opportunity to join at the beginning of a large-scale modernization initiative where you'll work alongside implementation consultants and ultimately take ownership of the company's data environment after go-live.

What You'll Be Doing

Build and scale a new Snowflake data warehouse environment Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines Create and maintain dbt models, transformations, and data catalogs Implement data ingestion solutions using Fivetran and other integration tools Establish data governance, architecture, and best practices Partner with business stakeholders to improve data quality and reporting consistency Help shape the long-term data strategy, including future AI initiatives Tech Stack Snowflake dbt Fivetran Domo SQL ETL / ELT Data Warehousing Data Architecture Data Governance Why This Opportunity Stands Out Join a company investing heavily in its data ecosystem Own a greenfield Snowflake implementation rather than maintaining legacy environments Work directly with leadership on enterprise-wide data initiatives Influence architecture, governance, and long-term strategy Strong growth potential as the data team expands Opportunity to contribute to future AI and advanced analytics initiatives Ideal Background 5+ years of Data Engineering experience Strong experience with Snowflake, dbt, and modern ELT frameworks Experience building and optimizing enterprise data warehouses Familiarity with Fivetran highly preferred Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and pipeline development Comfortable working across both technical and business teams Experience helping organizations mature their data capabilities is highly valued Location & Requirements Hybrid - Addison, TX (3 days onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday) Candidates should reside within approximately 45 miles of Addison Salary: Up to $165,000 Base US Citizens and Green Card holders only Immediate availability strongly preferred
