Contract Virtual In Home Care Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

We’re a home care agency looking for a registered nurse to serve as our contract clinical resource. You’ll be available to answer our team’s questions, complete client intakes, and sign off on caregivers to provide medication management after they finish their training modules.

Responsibilities

• Respond to clinical questions from agency staff by text
• Conduct in-person intake assessments for new clients
• Review completed caregiver training modules and sign off on caregivers to administer medication management

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Oregon
• 2-3 years of nursing experience, ideally in home health, geriatrics, or long-term care
• Reliable phone access and reasonable responsiveness to text inquiries
• Ability to complete intakes and sign-offs on a flexible, as-needed schedule

Pay structure

Retainer (available for questions over the phone) $100 every 2 weeks

Client intakes$50/hour

Caregiver sign-offs and trainings $50/hour

Expected hours: 5-8 hours weekly, can be after business hours or weekends as needed

Arrangement

Independent contractor, part-time, as-needed. Hours vary based on agency needs.

Pay: $50.00 per hour
