Sales Associate (Cashier)

Guy’s Quality Meats in Fort Pierce, FL, is looking for a Full-time Sales Associate/Account Representative. Responsibilities:* Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.

• Recommend products to customers based on customers' needs and interests.
• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Estimate or quote prices.
• Consult with clients after sales or contracts in order to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
• Prepare quotes and bids that meet specific customer needs.
• Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
• Identify prospective customers by using business directories, and following leads from existing ones.
• Keeping a clean work area.
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
• Assist in completing price changes within the department.

Qualifications:* Basic computer skills.

• Provide friendly, prompt, efficient, and courteous guest service.
• Promote sales by assisting customers and offering suggestions.
• Food experience.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills - prioritize work assignments and manage work time.
• Use of computers, computer operating systems, and software programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Previous Sales, Retail, or related experience is preferred.
