**Role Overview**

We are looking for recent college graduates or early\-career professionals with **0\-2 years of experience** to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in **software testing, test automation, Selenium WebDriver, and quality engineering practices**.
This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications. It is a great opportunity for candidates who want to build practical experience in **Selenium automation, API testing, Agile methodologies, and software quality assurance**.
**Key Responsibilities**
------------------------
- Develop, maintain, and execute **automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver**.
- Create and execute **manual and automated test cases** based on functional and business requirements.
- Perform **functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing**.
- Develop automation frameworks using **Selenium with Java, Python, or similar programming languages**.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as **Jira** or similar defect\-management systems.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed defect reports and test execution summaries.
- Work closely with developers, Business Analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements and resolve defects.
- Create and maintain **test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data**.
- Perform cross\-browser testing using browsers such as **Chrome, Firefox, and Edge**.
- Use **XPath, CSS selectors, WebDriver commands, waits, alerts, frames, and browser windows** for automated testing.
- Support **API testing** using tools such as Postman and validate REST API responses.
- Perform basic database validation using **SQL queries**.
- Participate in **Agile/Scrum ceremonies**, including daily stand\-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Integrate automated tests with **CI/CD pipelines** using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies.
- Maintain automation code using **Git/GitHub** and follow coding and testing best practices.
- Troubleshoot failed automation scripts and identify the root cause of test failures.
- Prepare and maintain QA documentation, test reports, and release validation results.
- Continuously learn and apply modern **QA, automation, and software testing practices**.
**Required Skills \& Qualifications**

- **0\-2 years of experience** or knowledge in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Basic hands\-on experience with **Selenium WebDriver**.
- Understanding of **manual testing concepts and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)**.
- Basic programming knowledge in **Java, Python, or similar languages**.
- Understanding of **locators, XPath, CSS selectors, waits, WebDriver, and browser automation**.
- Basic knowledge of **TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar testing frameworks**.
- Familiarity with **Page Object Model (POM)** and basic test automation framework concepts.
- Understanding of **SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies**.
- Basic experience with **Jira or similar defect\-management tools**.
- Basic knowledge of **Git/GitHub** is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of **SQL and database testing** is a plus.
- Familiarity with **Postman and REST API testing** is a plus.
- Basic understanding of **Jenkins or CI/CD concepts** is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem\-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document software defects.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a **remote work environment**.
- Willingness to learn new testing tools, automation frameworks, and emerging QA technologies.
