The Environmental Control Systems Engineer Collegiate Associate Intern will support aircraft systems engineering activities involving ECS design, analysis, testing, configuration management, and certification during the Summer 2027 semester.
Responsibilities
As part of the team, engineers perform detailed system performance analyses and support qualification and certification testing of components, assemblies, and full aircraft systems
The team works closely with suppliers to execute qualification testing, review engineering designs and drawings, and develop compliance documentation demonstrating adherence to FAA regulations
During this internship, you will gain hands-on exposure to aircraft systems engineering, including system design and configuration management, certification requirements under FAR Part 25, engineering analysis methods, and testing techniques used to validate and certify aircraft systems
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher
- Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Summer 2027 semester, beginning in May 2027
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume

1. Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher

3. Minimum duration: 10–12 weeks (summer); 10–16 weeks (spring and fall)
4. Must work onsite; this is not a remote position
5. Must have reliable transportation
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
