Job Overview

Granular Tek, LLC is seeking an experienced

Senior . NET Web Developer IV

to join our technology team and support the ongoing development, maintenance, enhancement, and integration of business-critical web applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the

Microsoft . NET technology stack

, including ASP. NET, MVC, . NET Core, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL Server, Web APIs, and SSRS reporting.

This is primarily an

application development and support position

, requiring someone who can work effectively on both new development initiatives and existing application environments.

The selected candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting application issues, implementing enhancements, supporting business requests, developing integrations, resolving technical problems, and ensuring applications remain secure, reliable, scalable, and compliant with organizational standards.

The position requires strong full-stack development capabilities, with the ability to work across both front-end and back-end components. The candidate should also understand modern

secure software development, DevSecOps practices, vulnerability remediation, and application security

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, enhance, and support web-based applications using the Microsoft .NET framework.
• Develop and maintain applications using ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, C#, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Perform both front-end and back-end development for enterprise web applications.
• Develop, maintain, and integrate RESTful Web APIs and web services.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Provide day-to-day application support and troubleshoot production and non-production application issues.
• Investigate application defects and technical issues through debugging, research, root-cause analysis, and testing.
• Develop application enhancements based on business and user requirements.
• Work with SQL Server and relational databases to create queries, stored procedures, data integrations, and database-related solutions.
• Develop and maintain SSRS reports and support reporting requirements.
• Participate in application integration activities and ensure effective communication between applications and external/internal systems.
• Follow established software development life-cycle methodologies, coding standards, documentation standards, and testing procedures.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation related to application architecture, development, support procedures, integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, infrastructure teams, security teams, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving application quality, maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Implement secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Work with security tools and practices, including GitHub Advanced Security, to identify and address application vulnerabilities.
• Support vulnerability remediation activities and prioritize remediation based on risk and business impact.
• Participate in DevSecOps initiatives and help integrate security controls into application development and deployment processes.
• Monitor application performance and assist in identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Follow secure software development frameworks and organizational security requirements.
• Apply principles aligned with NIST 800-218 Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF) and ISO 27034 where applicable.
• Participate in cybersecurity incident escalation and provide application-level technical support when required.
• Ensure applications meet applicable security, compliance, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
• Communicate technical issues, risks, recommendations, and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and diplomacy when working with internal teams, business users, and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–8+ years of professional experience in .NET application development and application support.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting web applications using:

+ ASP. NET

+ ASP. NET MVC

+ . NET / . NET Core

+ C#

• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end web application development.
• Experience developing and consuming Web APIs / Web Services.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience working with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and modern web development practices.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Experience with SSRS reporting.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications.
• Understanding of software development life-cycle methodologies.
• Experience with source control and modern development practices, preferably Git/GitHub.
• Knowledge of application security and secure software development practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
