Our Becoming Model emphasizes Servant Leadership, stewardship, accountability, and the belief that excellence is a habit.
What you will do
· Manage assigned GLTS business and nonprofit accounting clients using QuickBooks Online Accountant.
· Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts; prepare accurate financial statements and documented adjusting entries.

· Onboard assigned clients under GLTS procedures: review engagement scope, collect records, assess books, set up or access QuickBooks, document needs, and coordinate with the Client Success & Operations Coordinator.
· Meet with clients, explain financial information in understandable language, request missing records, and provide timely progress updates.
· Maintain secure client documentation, workpapers, communications, and daily activity records using approved GLTS systems, including TaxPulse and tax preparation software.
· Prepare work for internal quality review and follow established confidentiality and workflow requirements.
What you bring
· At least three years of relevant accounting experience with small businesses and/or nonprofits.
· Hands-on accounting cleanup, reconciliations, and QuickBooks Online proficiency.

· Strong communication, client service, organization, judgment, and attention to detail.
· Current IRS PTIN or ability to obtain one before compensated federal return preparation.
· Preferred: CPA or EA credential, accounting degree or equivalent experience, QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification, grant accounting experience.
Our work environment
This is a client-facing opportunity with room to grow. Qualified candidates may maintain outside professional clients where doing so does not conflict with GLTS responsibilities, confidentiality, or agreed availability. Employment terms and classification will be confirmed in the offer.
GLTS is an equal opportunity employer. To apply, submit a résumé and a brief summary of your QuickBooks cleanup, business tax, and nonprofit Form 990 experience.
