CRNP or Physician Assistant (#600)

Genesis Medical Associates, Inc., is currently seeking a full-time Advance Practice Provider (CRNP or PA-C) for our Schogel, Fardo, Atrasz & Associates Practice location. The position will serve our office in Cranberry Township, PA.

• Be self-motivated, demonstrate strong clinical skills, and be enthusiastic about building strong relationships with patients and the community.
• Provide appropriate patient care, including recording patient medical history and physical assessment, developing therapeutic care plans, ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting test results and providing accurate medical record documentation.
• Communicate and coordinate patient care.
• Prepare prescription orders for medications.
• Educate patients regarding health and preventive medicine, medications prescribed, treatment instructions, and community resources as appropriate.
• Participate in, develop, and implement performance and/or quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and professional standards.
• Contribute to physician effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term patient care issues that must be addressed; providing information and recommending options and courses of action; and implementing physician directives.
• Document patient care services accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
• Maintain current professional certification and licensure.

**Experience preferred: 2-4 years.

Qualifications

• Current RN License and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) certification, or Certified Physician's Assistant license
• Proficient in patient assessment and care planning
• Experience with EHR systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a clinic setting
• Familiarity with outpatient care, post-discharge care and health coaching techniques
