SYSTEMS ENGINEER PRINCIPAL.

The Systems Engineer Principal must have

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Experience: 8+ years of related experience

Position Required Skills:

 Proficiency using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools

 Demonstrated experience administering Linux systems

 Experience developing automation scripts (Bash/Python) to streamline operational and maintenance tasks

 Experience with the Agency’s STE/STN security compliance requirements and the ability to ensure systems adhere to established policies

 Familiar with basic Cisco switch configuration

 Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd

 Experience with creating, maintaining, and updating clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentation

Position Desired Skills:

 Experience administering Windows systems

 Experience with NetApp storage devices

 Experience with virtualization technologies including vSphere/vCenter

 Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence

• Security clearance level: TS/SCI
• US citizenship required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $160,650 - $217,350. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
