Reports To: Marketing Manager, Brand & Creative

About the Role

Within Marketing at GEICO - a team in the middle of a significant transformation - brand creative is how millions of people come to know, remember, and choose us. Keeping one of America's most beloved brands sharp, culturally relevant, and working hard for the business is a real competitive advantage and a must-do.

As Marketing

Lead on the Brand & Creative team, you'll take part in the development of GEICO's brand advertising in partnership with our creative agency of record and in-house creative teams. You'll collaborate day-to-day with creative agencies, shape briefs and creative through development, and make sure the work delivers against strategic business objectives and budgets.

You'll partner across Social, Creative Studio, Communications, and Analytics so that every campaign is cohesive across the customer journey and gets smarter with each rotation.

This role is a strong fit for someone who has both a creative eye and an operator's discipline - you can give an agency sharp, consolidated feedback in the morning and untangle talent rights and ad expirations in the afternoon. You'll be close to work that reaches culture at national scale, with real room to shape how the team plans, reviews, and learns from its creative.

Key Responsibilities

Agency Partnership & Creative Development

  • Collaborate on the day-to-day relationship and project work for GEICO's creative agency of record.
  • Evaluate and contribute to brief development, including intake briefs and creative addendums for agency partners.
  • Provide creative input and recommendations throughout the development process; capture and communicate consolidated feedback to agencies.
  • Review marketing and non-marketing materials to ensure all creative adheres to GEICO's brand voice and visual identity.

Cross-Functional Campaign Integration

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop omnichannel campaigns aligned with business, product, and marketing goals.
  • Partner with internal Social and Creative Studio teams to ensure shared strategic direction, brand cohesion, and campaign extension across the customer journey.
  • Partner with Internal and External Communications to amplify awareness of campaigns as they go to market.

Creative Performance & Insights

  • Synthesize and circulate creative performance metrics from Analytics.
  • Partner with Analytics to interpret creative performance and incorporate findings into current and future work.

Project Management & Operations

  • Maintain organization of Brand & Creative projects, holding accountability for deadlines and stakeholder reviews.
  • Roadmap all brand and external agency initiatives based on strategy and marketing directives.
  • Visualize and share creative rotations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage talent, usage rights, and ad expirations for commercials and external assets.
  • Contribute to budget tracking and invoicing.

You May Be a Good Fit If You

Have managed creative agency relationships day to day - or worked agency-side * - and know how to keep a partner focused on strategy, deadlines, and budget.

  • Can look at a rough cut or a concept board and articulate clearly what's working, what isn't, and why it matters for the brand.
  • Have worked inside a business where marketing is tied directly to winning and keeping customers, and you think about creative in terms of what it does for the business.
  • Can take feedback from several stakeholders and turn it into one clear, actionable direction for an agency.

Are the person who keeps the roadmap, the rotation schedule, and the rights tracker accurate * - and you don't let details like talent expirations slip.

  • Use performance data to make the next round of creative better, not just to report on the last one.
  • Do your best work in a fast-moving environment where processes are still being shaped, and you like helping shape them.
  • Want to work on a brand people already know and love, and help it keep earning its place in culture.

Ideal Experience

  • Experience: 3+ years of brand management experience or comparable creative agency experience.
  • Agency management: Prior experience managing external agencies, including creative agencies and media partners.
  • Service business context: Experience working inside a conversion-driven service business - financial services, insurance, SaaS, or banking - where marketing is tied directly to customer acquisition and retention.
  • Creative development: Strong experience with the creative development process and a demonstrated ability to evaluate creative and contribute to its development.
  • Full-funnel and omnichannel: Experience with full-funnel marketing campaigns and familiarity with omnichannel marketing.
  • Creative + analytical balance: Comfort pairing creative judgment with performance data to inform decisions.
  • Organization and budget: Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, plus hands-on experience with budget management.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication and strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners.
  • Tools: Comfort using AI tools like Claude or Copilot to speed up synthesis, feedback consolidation, and project tracking.

Strong Candidates May Also Have

  • Experience at a creative agency.
  • Experience at a B2C company.
  • Familiarity with media fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with full-funnel social media tactics.
  • Experience managing talent, usage rights, and residuals for broadcast commercials.

Annual Salary

$82,000.00 - $129,150.00
