Our client is a global manufacturer of technology products and they need someone to manage the development and lifecycle of their consumer appliance products. The Product Manager will be involved in product planning, market research, project coordination, customer-focused thinking, and product support material.
This role will work with teams across the business to help create products and experiences that meet customer needs and support business growth. Success in this role requires strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple product developments.
This opportunity is working on-site Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and the company offers excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and complete new product planning sheets by independently coordinating new product specifications, strategies, timelines, target costs and competitor analysis.
- Develop and prepare product support items such as show samples and product literature such as operation & installation instructions, specification sheets, and other product document materials.
- Develop and maintain detailed development schedules (Gannt charts) including agency, first lot orders, tooling, show samples and printed material requirements.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams during project development process for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare for and participate in new product release meetings to ensure all Marketing/Sales/Product Planning issues are complete.
- Contribute to pilot run review, preproduction review, and authorization meetings to ensure all necessary parts, quality, and customer requirements are satisfied prior to product launch. Review new products prior to first shipment to ensure quality and customer goals are satisfied.
- Participate in PSI meetings and discuss current customer activities. Check plan versus actual production and sales per customer
- Participate in Product Planning meetings and propose ideas/concepts for future planning.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or another related field.
- Must have 3 years of applicable experience or equivalent.
