Treat Pain. Restore Function. Help Patients Get Back to Their Best.
Bring your clinical knowledge, hands-on skills, and treatment ideas to a team that puts them to work. At Garden State Therapy Group, occupational therapists evaluate and treat pain, injuries, and functional limitations across the body, helping patients rebuild movement, strength, and function. From injury recovery to an athlete’s return to sport, your care will be guided by each patient’s goals.
Your expertise is pivotal to our multidisciplinary team. Bring your clinical reasoning, treatment approaches, and exercise strategies to colleagues who value your ideas and the care you provide.
Tell us your preferred locations and the days and times you are available. We will discuss where your skills and availability match current coverage opportunities.
Meaningful Work That Fits Your Availability
Whether you want to supplement another position or add outpatient hours to your week, we want to understand what works for you. We coordinate coverage around your availability and clinic needs, with opportunities for individual shifts, planned absences, or recurring coverage when there is a mutual fit.
You will receive onboarding and clinical support to help you get familiar with our patients, documentation, and team. We value the perspective you bring and want you to feel connected to the people beside you.
What you can look forward to:
- $60–$77 per hour for your work as an occupational therapist.
- Flexible coverage with your preferred locations and availability in mind.
- Experienced clinicians and approachable leadership available for support.
- Opportunities across GSTG offices as our organization grows.
- A team that appreciates your expertise and contribution.
A Practice Built Around People
GSTG is fully family and clinician owned. Founder and CEO Noah Miller started the company in 2015 as its sole clinician. He still provides direct patient care, keeping a practical understanding of clinical work central to our growth.
Our team brings together occupational therapy, physical therapy, chiropractic, and acupuncture, with each discipline contributing distinct expertise. Your knowledge of movement and function, hands-on treatment approaches, and exercise progressions help shape that care.
When a patient’s care involves more than one discipline, share findings, discuss treatment and exercise strategies, and coordinate goals with GSTG colleagues. Bring your own clinical judgment and learn from the different perspectives around you. We value your voice in those conversations and the clinical insight you bring to injury recovery and a return to activity.
What You Will Do
- Evaluate patients with pain, injuries, and functional limitations across the body, assessing movement, strength, mobility, and endurance.
- Develop individualized plans that support injury recovery and a return to work, exercise, sports, and other meaningful activities.
- Deliver hands-on treatment, progressive therapeutic exercise, functional rehabilitation, and patient education.
- Monitor changes in pain, movement, and functional performance and progress treatment accordingly.
- Help patients understand their recovery and carry progress into the activities they want to resume.
- Contribute findings, treatment ideas, and exercise strategies to collaboration with involved GSTG clinicians.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support continuity of care.
What You Bring
- An active New Jersey occupational therapy license.
- Thoughtful clinical judgment and a focus on functional outcomes.
- Clear communication, reliability, and enthusiasm for collaborative care.
- Outpatient rehabilitation experience is helpful.
Apply with your resume, preferred locations, and availability. Bring your skills and your perspective, and help patients return to the parts of life that matter most.
