Software Development Engineer

Job Description

FPT Software is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong programming knowledge, experience with modern development technologies, and the ability to build reliable and scalable software solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate with engineering teams, technical architects, and project stakeholders to develop enterprise applications, improve existing systems, and deliver innovative technology solutions for business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Build backend components and integrate application APIs.
• Develop and maintain enterprise software solutions.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into functional software.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve application performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Support software deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Technical Skills

• Strong programming knowledge in Java, Python, C++, or C#.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures.
• Experience with REST APIs and database technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and software testing tools.
• Understanding of software architecture and development frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
