Job description
We are seeking a motivated Technical Project Manager to support new product development from concept through mass production. This is a customer-facing role ideal for who are eager to gain hands-on exposure to NPI, DFM, and cross-regional manufacturing collaboration.
You will serve as a technical bridge between customers, internal engineering teams, and Asia-based manufacturing partners to ensure timely project execution and production readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Customer Engagement
- Serve as the primary technical liaison to major brand customers across diverse electronic product lines, proactively addressing technical concerns and advocating for client needs.
- Lead technical discussions with customers, engineering teams, and program managers regarding new product design proposals, specifications, and custom engineering solutions.
- Define DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and product validation requirements, providing expert technical feedback on part design, material selection, and manufacturability.
- Conduct regular customer meetings to review project status, identify risks, and address design or quality feedback.
NPI, Manufacturing & Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end project schedules to support prototype builds, NPI (New Product Introduction), and mass production ramp milestones.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering groups and Asia-based manufacturing teams to coordinate builds, resolve production issues, and support supplier alignment.
- Support Engineering Change Order (ECO) implementation and lead risk management efforts to ensure seamless execution across the product lifecycle.
Account Strategy & Global Operations
- Develop, nurture, and maintain strong, productive relationships with key client contacts to drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in internal product development meetings to provide actionable technical input and strategic insights derived from customer interactions and market trends.
- Travel to Foxlink branch offices, client sites, and Asian manufacturing facilities as needed to support builds, site reviews, and global supplier coordination.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Field Application Engineering, Technical Project Management, or Technical Account Management within the electronics/manufacturing sector.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical background in electronic product lines (e.g., connectors, cable assemblies, power management, battery packs).
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with a proven track record of managing technical relationships with Tier-1 clients.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to address complex engineering and customer requirements.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel periodically between company branch offices and client locations.
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English (required)

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
