Human Resources Generalist

Purpose of the Role

The Human Resources Generalist assists with the daily functions of the Human Resources department including hiring and interviewing staff, and onboarding. This role acts as a trusted partner to both employees and management, ensuring a positive work environment, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
• Attend job fairs across all Fox Valley Metrology locations
• Use job boards, social media, networking, and sourcing tools to find potential candidates
• Conduct initial outreach, screenings, and interviews
• Maintain database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects
• Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
• Assist with the background check, reference check, and drug screening processes
• Leads the onboarding experience, ensuring new hires complete paperwork and receive proper orientation

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Indeed & ZipRecruiter
• Working knowledge of E-Verify
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to all Fox Valley Metrology locations

Education and Experience

• Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of human resources experience required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
