We currently have an opening for a Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst. This is an onsite position at our Davenport Banking Center.

The Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst supports the Bank’s Information Systems function by helping ensure reporting is accurate, reliable, and aligned with business needs. This role works closely with Information Systems leadership, business units, end users, and vendors to support reporting requirements and resolve related issues.

The position takes responsibility for assigned work and supports broader business systems, application testing, documentation, and other Information Systems responsibilities as knowledge and experience develop.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain Power BI scorecards, dashboards, and operational and management reports using established data models
  • Create new reports and convert legacy Microsoft Report Writer reports to paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder.
  • Work with business users to define measures, calculations, filters, parameters, and presentation requirements.
  • Monitor report refreshes and data outputs and troubleshoot and resolve exceptions.
  • Coordinate resolution of data\-model, connection, and platform issues with internal technical staff and vendors.
  • Create and maintain data feeds and extracts using existing reporting capabilities and supported queries.
  • Define required fields, file formats, selection criteria, delivery schedules, and secure distribution with business units and vendors.
  • Read, make straightforward modifications to, and validate SQL queries, obtaining assistance for complex requirements.
  • Document field mappings and coordinate supplemental data needs when established models cannot meet a requirement.
  • Provide day\-to\-day support to users of reports, dashboards, and related reporting tools.
  • Create and maintain report definitions, calculation documentation, data\-source references, and operating procedures.
  • Develop training materials and provide end\-user training for assigned tools and processes.
  • Reconcile reports, scorecards, feeds, and extracts to established reports and source information.
  • Investigate discrepancies involving calculations, filters, date ranges, classifications, and missing or duplicate records.
  • Validate completeness and formatting and coordinate business\-user testing and acceptance.
  • Identify recurring data\-quality issues and opportunities to improve reporting consistency and reduce manual work.
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements for assigned reporting and system improvements.
  • Participate in testing and implementation support for report changes, system upgrades, and related enhancements.
  • Develop broader knowledge in banking application support, process improvement, and systems analysis as business needs and experience grow.
  • Follow established standards for data access, confidentiality, documentation, testing, and change control.
  • Protect customer and Bank information throughout reporting, data preparation, and delivery processes.
  • Manage assigned work independently, communicate progress, and coordinate priorities and technical escalation with Information Systems leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Experience**

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and practical experience.
  • Demonstrated reporting, dashboarding, data analysis, or business intelligence experience and proficiency.
  • Demonstrated Power BI experience using established data models, relationships, filters, and measures and creating straightforward DAX calculations.
  • Demonstrated experience with Power BI Report Builder or related Microsoft paginated reporting tools, including parameters, grouping, totals, and layouts for printing and export.
  • Experience preparing and validating data feeds and extracts, including field mapping, file formatting, and completeness checks.
  • Experience with Excel formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, and Power Query for importing, combining, and transforming data.
  • Familiarity with reading, modifying, and validating SQL queries; advanced SQL development is not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Understanding of banking systems, applications, and operational reporting is preferred.
  • Exposure to software development life cycle (SDLC), business process modeling, and user acceptance testing experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity basics or financial compliance standards is preferred
