Director, Product Management

Shape the Future of Cybersecurity at Forescout

Every day cyberattacks threaten to disrupt hospitals, power grids, financial systems, and the infrastructure we all depend on. At Forescout, we build defenses that keep civilization running smoothly in an increasingly connected world.

For more than 25 years, Fortune 100 organizations, government agencies, and large enterprises have trusted Forescout as their foundation to manage cyber risk, ensure compliance, and mitigate threats. From power grids and healthcare systems to financial networks and transportation hubs, Forescout protects the critical infrastructure of our modern world.

We are seeking a high-caliber, highly driven Director of Product Management to lead key elements of Forescout’s next-generation cybersecurity strategy across the full digital terrain. This is not a network-security-only role.

The successful candidate will understand cyber risk through the combined lenses of devices and assets, users and identities, networks and communications, and the physical processes those systems monitor or control across IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT environments.

This is a visible, customer-facing portfolio leadership role for a decisive self-starter who combines strategic and technical depth with exceptional executive presence and can turn strategy into delivered outcomes.

The Director will lead through influence across Product, Engineering, Architecture, UX, Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Services. This leader must command a room, communicate complex ideas with clarity and conviction, think quickly under pressure, and build credibility with customers, field teams, technical leaders, and executives.

They will create alignment, make tradeoffs explicit, and drive accountable execution across the full customer experience—from discovery and product definition through delivery, launch, adoption, support, and expansion.

What You Will Do

Portfolio Strategy and Investment:

  • Translate company priorities, market opportunities, and customer problems into investment themes, outcome-based roadmaps, and sequenced plans for protecting cyber-physical systems across device, identity, network, and physical-process layers.

Connect Investment, Roadmap, and Delivery:

  • Establish a transparent line of sight from funding and capacity decisions to roadmap commitments, delivery milestones, customer value, and business impact.

Cross-Portfolio Cyber-Physical Leadership:

  • Drive customer journeys and capabilities that unify device and asset intelligence, user and machine identity, network context and control, exposure management, threat defense, policy, segmentation, and enforcement across IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT. Evaluate outcomes in the context of operational continuity, resilience, safety, and mission impact—not through a network-only lens or isolated product silos.

Customer and Market Leadership:

  • Meet regularly with customers, prospects, partners, and field leaders across enterprise IT and cyber-physical environments to understand how devices, identities, networks, and physical operations intersect. Translate those insights into scalable priorities that address risk without disrupting critical business, industrial, or clinical processes.

Prioritization and Tradeoffs:

  • Frame decisions using customer impact, strategic fit, revenue potential, risk, cost, evidence, dependencies, and time to value. Recommend where to invest, partner, adjust, defer, or stop.

Roadmap and Execution Discipline:

  • Build coherent plans with clear outcomes, ownership, dependencies, milestones, decision points, and measures of success. Distinguish vision, plan, and commitment, and surface delivery risk early.

End-to-End Customer Outcomes:

  • Own outcomes across the entire customer experience, ensuring initiatives address discovery, evaluation, deployment, integration, operations, reporting, supportability, adoption, value realization, renewal, and expansion—not merely feature delivery.

Executive Presentations, Demos, and Field Readiness:

  • Deliver persuasive customer briefings, roadmap presentations, demonstrations, executive reviews, and industry-facing sessions. Translate complex capabilities into clear narratives, use cases, value propositions, launch criteria, and enablement that customers and field teams can understand and act on.

Performance and Adoption:

  • Define success metrics, inspect adoption and business performance, and use evidence to guide continued investment and roadmap adjustments.

GTM and Marketing Alignment:

  • Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing, Customer Success, and Services leadership to align positioning, demand creation, field execution, launch plans, and customer feedback with product strategy and roadmap priorities.

Engineering and Organizational Leadership:

  • Provide strong direction across multiple engineering teams, establish clear outcomes and priorities, resolve ambiguity and dependencies, and hold teams accountable for commitments. Coach product managers and strengthen operating mechanisms for discovery, planning, execution, and follow-through.

What You Bring to Forescout

  • 3+ years of product management experience, including leadership of complex enterprise cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, or platform initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success connecting portfolio strategy and investment decisions to roadmaps, execution plans, launches, adoption, and measurable outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience. MBA or advanced degree is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of cyber-physical systems security across IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT, with the ability to assess cyber risk through device and asset, user and machine identity, network, and physical-process perspectives. Experience with adjacent capabilities such as NAC, Zero Trust, segmentation, asset intelligence, exposure management, policy, threat defense, and enforcement is expected.
  • Experience leading across enterprise IT and cyber-physical environments, including on-premises, cloud, hybrid, industrial, connected-device, and medical-device architectures. Understand the distinct availability, safety, resilience, lifecycle, and change-control requirements of operational environments and focus on customer outcomes rather than product or deployment silos.
  • Proven ability to lead ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple products, engineering teams, stakeholders, and dependencies.
  • Strong customer discovery, market analysis, and competitive strategy skills, with the judgment to separate anecdotes from repeatable needs and evidence.
  • Business and financial acumen, including the ability to reason about investment, opportunity size, monetization, cost, sequencing, and tradeoffs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a track record of simplifying complex topics and presenting clear recommendations to executives.
  • High ownership, urgency, and follow-through. Comfortable identifying gaps, challenging assumptions, making decisions, and driving closure.
  • Experience developing and mentoring product managers and improving product operating practices across teams.

Key Skills

Cyber-physical security fluency:

  • Quickly understand how devices, identities, networks, software, and physical processes interact across IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT environments; engage credibly with enterprise security, industrial operations, clinical technology, architecture, engineering, and customer technical teams.

Structured problem-solving:

  • Decompose ambiguous customer and market problems, form clear hypotheses, use evidence to test assumptions, and translate findings into actionable product requirements and investment decisions.

Engineering partnership:

  • Work effectively with engineering leaders and teams on architecture, scope, sequencing, dependencies, quality, performance, security, and delivery risk without attempting to substitute product judgment for engineering ownership.

Data-driven decision-making:

  • Define meaningful product and operational metrics, interpret telemetry and customer evidence, and use quantitative and qualitative insights to prioritize investments and evaluate outcomes.

Technology communication:

  • Explain complex technical concepts in clear business language, adapt the level of detail to the audience, and confidently handle technical questions in customer, executive, and field-facing settings.
