The Role

D9 Drinkz is seeking a high-energy, strategically-minded State Market Manager to lead our expansion across the Grand Canyon State. You won't just be selling a drink; you’ll be the face of the fastest-growing category in the beverage industry: Cannabis RTDs.

From the high-volume dispensaries in the Valley of the Sun to the burgeoning retail scenes in Tucson, Flagstaff, and Sedona, you will be responsible for placing our D9 Drinkz portfolio (including our Delta-9 THC seltzers) in the hands of Arizona consumers.

Key Responsibilities

• Territory Growth: Identify and open new accounts across Arizona, targeting licensed adult-use and medical dispensaries.
• Portfolio Advocacy: Educate buyers and budtenders on the science of our D9 RTD beverages, including onset times, flavor profiles, and the "Social High" experience.
• Compliance Expert: Stay ahead of Arizona-specific regulations, including the 2025/2026 ADHS rulings on intoxicating hemp and strict packaging/labeling requirements (A.A.C. R9-18-314) to ensure partners remain compliant.
• Event & Activation: Lead "Drip & Sip" tasting events and represent D9 Drinkz at major Arizona industry expos, festivals, and local "First Friday" activations.
• Strategic Reporting: Use local market data (Headset, etc.) to provide feedback to HQ on Arizona-specific consumer trends, such as the surge in functional sports/energy cannabis drinks.

Requirements

• Experience: 1+ years in Beverage Sales (Alcohol/CPG) or Cannabis Sales. Familiarity with the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) licensing system or dispensary procurement is a massive plus.
• Arizona Native Knowledge: Deep understanding of the geography, from the Phoenix Metro area to the high country and the border regions.
• Legal: Must be 21+ and possess a valid Arizona driver’s license. Must be able to obtain an Arizona Facility Agent Card for dispensary access and professional compliance.
• Hustle: This is a field-heavy role. You are comfortable navigating I-10 and I-17 to close deals face-to-face.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot) to track the Arizona pipeline.
