Job Description

Flux Systems is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support business needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to build reliable software, improve application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver maintainable solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong programming and problem-solving skills, an understanding of software development best practices, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative development team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and technical specifications.
• Build and maintain application features, APIs, and software integrations.
• Troubleshoot bugs, diagnose technical issues, and implement fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.
• Develop unit tests and support integration and regression testing.
• Maintain technical documentation and development records.
• Contribute to application performance, reliability, and security improvements.
• Participate in planning meetings and provide updates on development progress.

Requirements

• Experience in software development or a related technical role.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development principles.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience using Git or another version control system.
• Understanding of software testing, debugging, and application maintenance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and collaborate with a development team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with web development frameworks and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.
• Understanding of application security and performance optimization.
