WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

IN A STAFF ACCOUNTANT - BUSINESS SUPPORT SPECIALIST

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related job experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formulas
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting deadlines effectively
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Understanding of accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year(s) of accounting experience
• Master's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Stampli, or other financial systems
• Familiarity with process improvement initiatives and scaling accounting operations within growing organizations

YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR STAFF ACCOUNTANT - BUSINESS SUPPORT SPECIALIST

This is a full-time onsite position based in Greenwood Village, CO.

As a Staff Accountant - Business Support Specialist, you will perform daily bank and balance sheet account reconciliations while helping ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. You will prepare, maintain, and file annual reports, sales reporting, business licenses, and sales and use tax documentation.

Throughout the week, you will prepare and record accounts payable transactions, facilitate rent payments, and maintain positive relationships with property managers and landlords. You will record journal entries, maintain organized supporting documentation for audits and internal reporting, and reconcile general ledger accounts to support a smooth and timely month-end close process.

Your day will also include managing certificates of insurance, ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, and participating in special projects and initiatives that strengthen the overall finance and accounting function.
