- Analyze cost, inventory, and financial data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with Operations and other business functions to support inventory cycle count reporting, work-in-process audits, fixed asset verification, and sheet-to-floor inventory activities.
- Investigate and resolve accounting issues that may affect the accuracy or timely completion of financial close activities; escalate concerns when needed.
- Prepare quarterly reporting, including Site Analytics and other assigned financial reporting requirements.
- Maintain compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, and established accounting procedures.
- Identify and support opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen financial controls, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Ability to prepare journal entries, perform account analysis, and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, inventory accounting, or a related function.
- Experience supporting financial close activities in a manufacturing or operations-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with ERP and accounting systems; SAP experience is preferred.
- Experience using BlackLine or similar account reconciliation software.
