About this role
Role Overview
Flex is transforming the traditional, fragmented $90B+ moving, storage, and last-mile delivery industry into a seamless, technology-driven experience. As Principal Product Manager, you will own a core product area within Flex's platform, partnering closely with a lean, senior engineering team to translate complex operational challenges into scalable product solutions.
You'll bring structure and rigor to a high-ambiguity space, balancing speed with long-term platform health.
This role is open to USA remote, with need-based travel to our offices. Regardless of location, you’ll be expected to work EST hours. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship at this time.
Core Responsibilities
- Product Roadmap:
Define and drive the roadmap for your product area, aligning it with company-wide growth goals.
- Cross-Functional Partnership:
Work day-to-day with a senior engineering team to translate business and operational requirements into clear technical specs, balancing speed with long-term architectural health.
- Operational Feedback Loops:
Build tight feedback loops with operations and support teams to identify friction points and prioritize fixes that improve reliability and reduce churn.
- Data-Driven Iteration:
Define and track the metrics that matter for your product area, and drive a roadmap grounded in those numbers, not intuition.
- Executive Communication:
Clearly communicate product strategy, tradeoffs, and progress to leadership, ensuring alignment across a fast-moving organization.
