Information Technology Manager

Our client is seeking an Information Technology Manager in Boston, MA. This is a direct hire role and onsite 3 days per week. This is a hands on managerial role.

AWS experience required.

The Information Technology (IT) Manager provides hands-on leadership for operations, infrastructure, applications, cloud services, automation, and information security support functions. This role manages IT staff and vendors while remaining actively engaged in technical execution, incident response, project delivery, process improvement, and operational readiness.

The IT Manager ensures secure, reliable, and well-documented operation of on-premises, hosted, SaaS, and cloud environments, including core banking applications, Microsoft 365, AWS, Microsoft Azure, virtualization platforms, Windows and Linux servers, networks, storage, backup, monitoring, and endpoint technologies.

• 5+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, engineering, systems administration, application support, cloud operations, security controls, or related technical disciplines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, ITIL, Security+, CISSP, CISM, Network+, PMP, or equivalent credentials are preferred.
