This role leads complex analysis and evaluation of business processes, operational performance, and data to identify solutions that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives. Operates independently to define metrics, assess impacts, and support execution of business initiatives, while partnering cross-functionally to drive informed decision-making.

• Evaluates business processes, workflows, and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and alignment with organizational goals
• Analyzes complex data sets and business scenarios to support decision-making, solution development, and initiative prioritization
• Defines, tracks, and interprets performance metrics, baseline data, and target outcomes to measure success and ensure initiatives deliver intended results
• Partners with project and program teams to assess impacts to scope, timelines, costs, and resource needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Independently leads analysis efforts for initiatives with cross-functional implications, balancing competing priorities and constraints
• Applies sound judgment to interpret policies, standards, and requirements, adapting them to evolving business needs and environments
• Identifies root causes of operational challenges and develops actionable recommendations to address gaps and improve performance
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate assumptions, and ensure solutions are practical, sustainable, and integrated across systems and processes
• Supports implementation efforts by monitoring outcomes, identifying variances, and recommending adjustments to improve effectiveness
• Mentors or provides guidance to peers, contributing to consistency in analytical approaches and quality of deliverables

Typical Scope:

• Applies best practices and knowledge of internal/external business challenges to improve products, processes or services. Is accountable for small projects or programs with manageable risks and resource requirements. Resolves difficult and complex problems using judgment and analysis; contributes to problem solving in collaborative settings. Interprets policies and adapts them to new situations.
• Demonstrates judgment in selecting methods to solve problems that have cross-functional impacts or require balancing competing priorities. Applies advanced knowledge of job area with experienced understanding of functional area.
• Typically receives little instruction on daily work. Works independently within defined specialties; adapts methods and procedures for routine work with minimal oversight. Accountable for deliverables. May mentor others and coach or review their work.

Essential Skills

Education & Experience:

• Required Education:Bachelors degree in field relevant to role (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
• Required Experience:4 - 6 years of relevant experience

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in business analysis, process improvement, operations, or a related analytical function
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex and ambiguous situations
• Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to support initiatives, projects, or operational improvements
• Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal oversight
• Strong understanding of process optimization, performance measurement, and data-driven decision-making
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Experience mentoring or guiding others and promoting consistent analytical practices
• Experience with mergers a plus

Location:

CA REMOTE ONLY

Target Compensation:

CA Remote - $102,300 - $122,650/year

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
