Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will evaluate, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients of all ages improve their functional independence and quality of life.

You will play a vital role in promoting patient recovery, facilitating discharge planning, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify patients’ needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement occupational therapy programs for diverse populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders, and individuals with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, physicians, educators, and case managers to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Manage medical documentation accurately within electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with clinical standards and legal requirements.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, caregivers, and school staff on therapeutic strategies and adaptive techniques for improved daily functioning.

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist in accordance with state or national regulations.
  • Proven experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder and disabilities across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, school-based programs, or skilled nursing facilities.
  • Experience conducting occupational therapy assessments and developing effective treatment plans for pediatric and adult populations.
  • Excellent client communication skills coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively within interprofessional teams.

Pay: $46. 20 - $55. 63 per hour
