**The Role**
The Sr. IT Project Manager– Delivery \& Governance, supports the development and execution of Fidelity’s Asset Management Technology (AMT) strategy and multi‑year roadmap. Operating within the Technology Strategy \& Governance (TSG) team, this role focuses on program\-level execution, structured planning, and high\-quality strategic communications, ensuring alignment across business and technology stakeholders.
Support the creation, refinement, and maintenance of AM Technology’s multi‑year technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterprise‑level technology direction.
- Contribute to shaping and ongoing refinement of AMT’s multi‑year technology strategy; translate strategy into clear execution plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- Produce high\-quality written materials including executive briefs, strategic narratives, operating plans, and roadmap artifacts tailored for senior stakeholders.
- Drive program and project planning rigor—including timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverable tracking—for strategy\-aligned initiatives.
- Support governance of the strategic book of work by partnering with delivery and product leaders to track progress, surface risks, and maintain alignment to priorities.
- Coordinate across teams to ensure consistent planning inputs, roadmap transparency, and execution discipline.
- Lead select cross\-functional initiatives and projects, applying structured problem solving, data analysis, and stakeholder coordination.
- Partner with AM Communications to ensure clear, consistent, and well\-structured messaging across leadership forums and organizational communications.
- Establish and reinforce planning standards, documentation quality, and communication best practices across initiatives.
**The Expertise and Skills You Bring**
- Analytical and problem\-solving skills including proficiency in interpreting data and forming clear recommendations
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complexity for executive audiences
- Strong planning and organizational capabilities, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Demonstrated strength in program and project management, including planning, dependency management, and execution tracking
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Familiarity with product operating models, roadmap development, and navigating delivery challenges.
- Comfort in operating in a complex, matrixed organizations with evolving priorities.
- 7\+ years of experience in technology strategy, project/program management, consulting, or related roles, with an IT background and financial service focus.
**The Team**
The TSG organization is responsible for defining and maintaining the AMT strategy, driving effective program management and delivery practices, operations, and managing both discretionary and non\-discretionary Enterprise Technology–driven initiatives within AMT.
This role is a key connector across Asset Management Technology, ensuring strategic alignment, clear communication, effective execution governance, and informed prioritization.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full\-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues.
This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
The base salary range for this position is $89,000\-$180,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
