- Configure, modify, test, and improve PLC software applications based on equipment options and evolving customer needs.
- Apply GE and Allen-Bradley PLC control systems, variable-frequency AC drives, and industrial automation components to deliver reliable machine performance.
- Support installation, debugging, startup, and commissioning activities at Ferry facilities and occasionally at customer locations.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and service teams to bring practical, high-quality machine designs to life.
Required Qualifications:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical discipline.
- You bring at least two years of related electrical engineering, controls engineering, or industrial automation design experience.
- You can create functional electrical designs and electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, including large electrical control panel layouts.
- You have PLC programming experience with GE Proficy and/or Rockwell Studio 5000, along with familiarity with Rockwell FactoryTalk View Studio or comparable HMI/SCADA software.
- You understand electrical codes, machine safety standards, and industrial electrical design practices for U.S. and European markets.
Additional Details:
- You must be a U.S. citizen, possess a valid U.S. driver’s license, and be able to obtain a U.S. passport if international support is needed.
- Travel is typically less than 5% annually and may include local, domestic, or international support.
